Well, there's that whole 'staying put where I place it' problem... :/ The cracks I'm talking about are tiny little things for the most part (although that will work in a couple of the larger holes), where the powder won't be able to get down in there to do any good. Sure, I can put it down, but the next time we sweep, it's gone.
Check on dry, check on pet-friendly, negatory on the stayputtiness in the tiny cracks. :/ For that, we need a liquid application, but das ist verboten.
