The three girls suspended for saying the word 'vagina' during a high school reading of an excerpt from The Vagina Monologues have had their sentences rescinded. Or postponed. The article is not clear.

But still... for saying vagina? Brother.

the first time i saw the Vagina monologues, I decided I would say "vagina" every day. And it went on for a while, but i got slack. Imagine that - slack in my "vagina" rather than a vagina in my slacks. ;-)

Then there was this guy I know and his kid was riding in the car with him and the kid got all serious and said "Dad, I know what the "F" word is" and dad tried not to laugh and said "What?" and the kid got all serious faced and said "Fagina".

On a somewhat related note, the WA legislature is currently debating a bill that would reassert the freedom of speech rights of high-school and college journalists, preventing school officials from stopping the publication of stories they don't like.
