8GB is a little disappointing. One of the reasons I've held off on an iPod is because I don't want to carry around yet another device. An iPhone solves that problem, but only if it can hold my entire collection (30GB currently and counting).
On the other hand, any phone with support for "Multi-finger gestures" is a winner in my book. :) I can think of several gestures I've wanted to use during phone conversations. Does the support translate into feedback at the other end? I'd love to be able to flip the bird at the phone and have an electric shock delivered at the other end.
It's interesting that the screen is 2:3 aspect ratio, instead of 3:4. (2:3 is the same ratio as 35mm film.)
PS According to Jesus, you have already committed adultery with it. Like, ew.
*droooool* Can't wait! Well, I probably will, because I don't usually adopt first-gen anything. But still, very exciting to see that the features live up to the hype. And hey, I think my current cellular contract is up in June. :D
