One of the senior mgr type people here was listed as running the Tuesday Night Hikes club. I saw him in the hall, and asked about it. (Yes, I was schmoozing.) He said they're not running during the winter, will start up again on the daylight savings switch.

As we're walking away from each other, he stops and calls back "You don't rock climb by any chance, do you?"

Heh heh.

"Well, I used to, but haven't since my shoulder surgery three years ago."

"Oh, well, you should come out with us, we go every Tue and Thu night, over in Valhalla."

"Great! I'll keep it in mind."


Well, that gives me a good excuse to go hit the gym and get my upper body back in shape... :)

Sorry, that was temporary possession by my 4th-great uncle who I believe I've told you about. He's gone now. (Maybe it wasn't my uncle. Maybe it was Foghorn Leghorn. They sound alike, a little.)
