Even though this went badly for me last time, I thought you'd get a kick out of the follow up discussion re: squids.

Me: "No, honey, the cephalopodic equivalent of a 'furry' is not a 'jelly'... and no, I don't think a furry convention would appreciate someone in a squid suit. A hentai convention maybe..."

Arguably, "furry" probably still applies as a label, even though the creature in question is not furry. And I now regret not taking a picture of the guy wandering around in the cockroach suit at BugFest last weekend.
