Hear ye, hear ye....

In the interest of making the PC more, well, PC, the following has been enacted:

1) Profiling is evil. Stop it.

2) Methods that perform under expectations are no longer allowed to be called 'slow'. The proper term is 'differently timed'.

3) Under the American Methods with Disabilities Act, such methods *must* be accommodated to perform at their full potential.


So the next time you need to buy faster hardware, tell your manager it's required by law. I'm sure they'll understand.

And when the method returns an incorrect result, it's not "buggy", it's "differently featured".

Now I think of it, I think the brains of some of the people I worked with at MS were "differently featured".
