There's a book, called _Murder at the War_, that is set at the big SCA event (Pennsic). At one point, the main character ( a morning person) has taken an afternoon nap, and has awoken in a hot, stuffy tent (this is unfun, as anyone who's experienced it knows). So there she is, talking to her husband, and mentions that she feels like crap. He's like "Lemme guess. Your eyes feel sandy, your head feels like it's full of cotton balls, and the light is too. damn. bright." She agrees, and then has a revelation: "Wait, is this what you feel like *every* morning? No Wonder you're so grumpy!"
