lycodethropy (n):

The condition under which a person is unable to produce source code before sunset. Common in geek cultures. Assumed to be caused by toxic levels of caffeine coupled with radiation from florescent lighting. No known cure, non-transmissible by known means, although Extreme Programming may prove to be a viable vector.

Many of the XP practitioners I've encountered appear to be suffering from a condition where they are unable to produce source code before _or_ after sunset.

Of course, since they couldn't cut code before they started XP, maybe it's not a process issue...
