#5 should be interesting, at the very least :).

I just caught up with all my interview questions!

you never followed through last time. punk-ass.

I dare you. I DARE YOU.

Pronoun problems again. I *hate* pronoun problems.

[identity profile] franktheavenger.livejournal.com 2006-04-27 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)
You don't like the challenge? :)

[identity profile] badger.livejournal.com 2006-04-27 10:52 pm (UTC)(link)
No, just the thread invoked Daffy. The "pronoun problems" bit with Daffy, Bugs, and Elmer is one of my favorite bits of tactical linguistics I've ever seen.

[identity profile] badger.livejournal.com 2006-04-27 10:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Besides, since I've always been a fan of Russian military strategy of "let's you and him fight", I have no problem at all with your challenging someone else :).

[identity profile] franktheavenger.livejournal.com 2006-04-27 10:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh.

I'm still giggling about the hat. And I'm not even joking. :D

it's not "he doesn't have to shoot you now" it's "he doesn't have to shoot me now." well i say he DOES have to shoot me now! SO SHOOT ME NOW!!

yay for cookies!!! would you like to hear me recite the entire dialogue from rabbit of seville? ...

"How do? Welcome to my shop. Let me trim your mop. Let me shave your crop...daaaaaintily. daaaaaaintily..." (i could go on, you know)

Re: *BANG*

[identity profile] kickaha.livejournal.com 2006-04-28 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
She can. She's like the walking dictionary of Warner Bros cartoons.

No no no, I believe you implictly and do not doubt you in the least. Even before I saw [livejournal.com profile] kickaha's corroborating assertion. You get another cookie for *not* doing the entire rabbit of seville.

(Hmmm. I should find a copy of the Warner Bros. Jekyll & Hyde cartoon for my collection. )

It's not the low ground! I just thought you'd like to know. That particular image is never going away. :)

The only Looney Tunes stuff I recall with any clarity is the 'Killed da wabbit' opera. Fudd calling the weather is classic! "WIGHTNING! WIND! WAIN! TUNDARRR!" :D

1. You are the most bad-ass biker I know. Seriously. I'd kill to have half your miles.
2. Oh man. This is a toughie. _Easy Rider_ is too easy... oh! I know! _A Bug's Life_ :D
3. You mean *other* than something involving tequila?
4. "I have wood under my fingernails - what the hell?"
5. Darlin', ain't nuthin' 'bout that night is too clear, ya know?
6. "[She] was sounding the deeps of [her] nature, and of the parts of [her] nature that were deeper than [she], going back into the womb of Time. [She] was mastered by the sheer surging of life, the tidal wave of being, the perfect joy of each separate muscle, joint, and sinew in that it was everything that was not death, that it was aglow and rampant, expressing itself in movement, flying exultantly under the stars and over the face of dead matter that did not move."
7. How *did* you manage to break the curse?

[identity profile] kickaha.livejournal.com 2006-04-28 03:31 pm (UTC)(link)
And for that, you get to be last. ;)

[identity profile] kickaha.livejournal.com 2006-04-28 07:09 pm (UTC)(link)
1. You're a genuinely nice, genuinely twisted person. I like that combo.
2. Secretary
3. Go shopping, tawk, get cawfee, shop some more...
4. "It's like God's own wet T-shirt contest."
5. Val & Tyler's wedding, serving up sno-cones and being oh so cute about it. :)
6. To thine own self be true.
7. Huh. I can't think of anything offhand that I *haven't* already asked you.

[identity profile] code-slave.livejournal.com 2006-04-28 07:35 pm (UTC)(link)
"5. Val & Tyler's wedding, serving up sno-cones and being oh so cute about it. :)"

Is it possible you meant Joni and Kurtis's wedding? That's the day we met, and a whole bunch of us found out we are, as BT always calls it in his invites, "like-minded". That was back when I had the hand-operated sno-cone machine, the kind ya gotta freeze up special 'pucks' for. Nowadays, I've gone electric, and any ol' ice will do.

Ah... memories... :-)

[identity profile] kickaha.livejournal.com 2006-04-28 07:39 pm (UTC)(link)
*Slaps forehead*

Yeah, J&Ks. I met V&T that day too, which is why I was thinking... ohnevermind. :)

[identity profile] code-slave.livejournal.com 2006-04-28 07:45 pm (UTC)(link)
It's okay... that progression makes sense to me. :-)

And I also meant to say, Thanks for all the nice stuff you said.
*huggs*

[identity profile] margarita-5.livejournal.com 2006-04-28 10:19 pm (UTC)(link)
you suck so much!!

Re: I'm in.

[identity profile] kickaha.livejournal.com 2006-04-29 04:10 am (UTC)(link)
1. Your honesty, your self-inspection, and your willingness to share that with others who are trying to do the same.
2. Hmm... since American McGee's Strawberry Shortcake was never actually *made*, I'm thinking.... Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. You are one of my more *fabulous* friends, honey.
3. Cripes, just having a chance to hang out, catch up, and *chat* would be fantastic.
4. Thank you.
5. Wow, the first few times I met you, I think it was after midnight, and you were half-asleep, but the *clearest*? Probably the night we went out to the bar in Ballard. That was not only fun, but I felt like we actually got to know each other after years of 'knowing' each other.
6. "Aw c’mon puddin’…don’t you wanna rev up your Harley?"
7. Huh. I can't think of anything that I'd ask you that either I haven't already, or doesn't need to be behind a filter, so... :)

[identity profile] kickaha.livejournal.com 2006-04-29 04:32 am (UTC)(link)
1. Your pollyanna, sunny outlook and boundless optimism is an endless source of inspiration to me.
2. Man, there's this little underground film I can't quite remember the name of... it'll come to me.
3. Duh, take over the world...
4. Be careful what you wish for.
5. When [livejournal.com profile] ginkgo and I double-dated with you and W at Ruby Tuesday's. You two were so cute.
6. "Make something idiot-proof, and the world will build a better idiot."
7. If you get a third kitty, and it has its rear legs in a cart, would you name it Anduril?

Re: oooo!

[identity profile] kickaha.livejournal.com 2006-04-29 05:29 pm (UTC)(link)
1. Your *style*, woman! You pull it off, and you wear it well.
2. Buckaroo Banzai is too easy, if utterly appropriate. There's a certain Liquid Sky vibe under that Clash exterior though, isn't there? Hmm, decisions, decisions.
3. What else? ROAD TRIP!
4. Who'd have thunk that covert uses of 'borrowed' knives pop up even in art installations?
5. Night of the Rhino Incident... you walked in, and all my 80s Alarms pegged to the red. I just *knew* I had to get to know you better. Anyone who could keep the gestalt going this long, and *not* make it seem like an affectation, was someone I wanted to get to know.
6. "Zombies keep thrusting themselves upon me!"
7. What's *your* favorite comic right now? Of the past year? Five years? Evah?

[identity profile] kickaha.livejournal.com 2006-04-30 05:37 pm (UTC)(link)
(I have scars to prove it!)

1. Your twisted little brainmeats. That trumps just about everything else in my book.
2. Oy, a tough one. Vs. is a good choice, but... OOOOH! Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill! :D
3. I never did get to see Carhenge...
4. *honk*
5. Earliest? Probably sitting over at qmarq's pad whilst you two shoved anime at me in metric buttloads. Clearest? Would have to be the night you came over after I moved back from Utah, and we sat up until wee hours talking in the unfinished apt while [livejournal.com profile] ginkgo kept us supplied with alcohol. A lot of prior history got brought up, hashed out, and worked out that night, and it kickstarted a lot of my own internal ponderings. Thanks.
6. "FISHCAKES!"
7. Hmmm... is there anything I *haven't* randomly asked you over the years? Oh wait, I know: How did you learn your mad sewing skillz? Family? Friends? Osmosis?

[identity profile] franktheavenger.livejournal.com 2006-05-01 04:10 am (UTC)(link)
Lol, I will now! :D

And goddamit, Warren and I are just friends! :p

I like it!

In other news, just because I really want to know what question you'd offer up behind a filter, I made one for you:

Whenever you're ready. :)

Slowly catching up...

1. Your wonderfully dry sense of humor. I have a gaggle of friends with dry and sardonic humor, but yours is the freaking Sahara with a side-order of the mother of all slow Indian Burns. Your aside comments cause intense, building pain that would make deSade proud. Kudos.
2. Damn, this one has me stumped. *ONE* movie? (Can't I at least pick a *genre*?)
3. BadMovieFest. Not just bad movies, Bad Movies. Ones that make Wild Zero look normal. Ones that will be talked about for years in therapy sessions as people try and scrub the terror from the brains. We simply must. The Universe demands it.
4. "Your god would not be pleased."
5. Two words: Apricot. Cleavage.
6. "Always make the audience suffer as much as possible" - Alfred Hitchcock
7. Can I have your drawing skills? I seem to have lost mine.

[identity profile] kickaha.livejournal.com 2006-06-19 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
1. Oh, definitely your shyness and demure nature. Totally. Really. ;)
2. Dur, _The Pirate_. :) (Ha! Not _Singing in the Rain_! I *remembered*!)
3. Hmm. Done that. Nope, done that too. And that. Okay, *not* 'road trip with your folks'... Hell with it. Throw a party. You always throw good ones, and I always enjoy myself at them. We should throw a party for no good reason other than to get all our friends quite tipsy and see what they do. Again. :)
4. "Flup flup flup"
5. You, dancing at Legends, back when you had the *really* long hair.
6. "I gotta be meeeeeeeeeee!"
7. I give... why Civ? *Still*? I swear, the day that's available on a PDA, you are *so* screwed...

Just one more to go... :}
