I made some measurements of the new place today and whipped up a blueprint so ginkgo could actually get a feel for where she's going to be living. Pictures to follow at some point.

What did you use to make this?
I've been needing a simple drafting program ever since they killed MacDraft/Claris Draft, and it feels like a lot of hassle to install SuperMongo on my Mac...

He rocks the OmniGraffle. http://www.omnigroup.com/applications/omnigraffle/ That level of detail took him awhile, but was a huge help to me.

Considering that it's actually accurate to the inch, and that OG isn't a drafting program, but a general drawing app, yeah, it took a while. (Hint: set up a grid with 48pts on major ticks, 12 minor ticks per box, and you get 4pts/inch. Turn on snap to grid, and run with it.)
